Visit a unique and remote man-made ice cave in Langjökull, one of Iceland‘s largest and most spectacular glaciers. You begin the tour by bus from the BSÍ Bus Terminal and then change to a monster-truck which will take you almost to the top of the glacier, where you enter the magnificent cave. Going into the glacier is an unforgettable trip that takes place in one of the world‘s greatest wilderness. Imagine standing on an ice cap reaching 200 meters below your feet!
We start the journey from Reykjavik and head towards the beautiful fjord Hvalfjordur. As we start heading towards the glacier, we make stops at a few great locations.
Hraunfossar / Barnafoss waterfalls
Are waterfalls in close vicinity to each other. Hraunfoss is a series of waterfalls streaming through the lava field of Hallmundarhraun. Barnafoss is reputed to have been the site of an accident where two boys drowned when trying to cross a natural stone bridge. Their mother then had the bridge destroyed after the accident.
Deildartunguhver
Pours out piping hot 97°C Water at a rate of 180 liters per second. The Hot spring is piped and used to heat up the nearby regional towns of Akranes and Borgarnes. It is the highest-flow hot spring in Europe.
Húsafell
The innermost estate in Borgarfjörður county. A Swimming pool and a golf course can be found here along with a number of second homes and holiday housing.
Langjökull Ice Cave
The largest man-made ice tunnel in the world. Situated inside Langjokull glacier, Iceland. You’ll traverse the frozen terrain of the Langjökull glacier in our specially modified glacier vehicle, and journey deep inside the pristine blue ice via a man-made tunnel into the heart of the glacier.

All prices are per person. We accept payment by major credit and debit cards with no additional fees. Gratuities are not included.
Tour itinerary changes:
At all times your safety is our first priority. You can expect any kind of weather in Iceland. For this reason, the tour itinerary may be subject to change the sights without notice or the tour might be canceled due to weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. If the timing changes, we will need your valid mobile phone number to contact you and inform you of the time change. Please don’t forget to fill out your phone number on the booking form. If the tour is canceled, you can choose to receive a full refund or to reschedule your tour for another day. We make every effort to avoid any such changes wherever possible.
What to bring:
Since the weather is unpredictable, always bring comfortable outdoor clothes, warm layers, with waterproof and windproof outer-layers. Jeans are not suitable clothing; a waterproof jacket and shoes and a warm sweater are highly recommended. It’s best to wear boots as it’s pretty cold on the glacier and they can get wet. Bring your personal daily medications if required – please let us know of any allergies or medical conditions that you may require assistance with.

Full payment is required at time of booking to secure your place. We require 24 hrs notice of cancellation for a refund. Any cancellation made within less than 24 hours prior to departure will be fully charged.
