Itinerary

On this day tour, filled with exploration and relaxation, we start with the famous Golden Circle before heading to Iceland’s latest geothermal spa, The Sky Lagoon.

Your experienced guide will pick you up in Reykjavík, and when everyone is comfortably seated on the bus, your adventure will begin! After leaving the city limits, your local guide will drive you through Hellisheiði, a lava plateau, while following Route 1. This will take us to the Golden Circle, the sightseeing route that has become a global phenomenon.

We start with the erupting geysers of the Geysir geothermal area that boasts spouting springs, including Strokkur, the most active geyser in Iceland Then, we’re heading to the queen of Icelandic waterfalls, Gullfoss (the Golden Waterfall), where can witness as the enormous quantities of water tumble violently into a deep, meandering gorge. The final destination is the beautiful UNESCO world heritage site, Þingvellir National Park, an area of historical and geological significance, where you will spend your time encountering a cross-section of Iceland’s natural wonders and geological phenomena.,

After the day’s adventures, we head for a relaxing soak in the Sky Lagoon. This new oceanside geothermal spa feels like a different world, surrounded by lava formations with a breathtaking view over the Atlantic Ocean. Your admission includes the epic Seven-Ster-Ritual:

Step 1: Slow down, and relax in the lagoon

Enter through the cave-like entrance to the lagoon. Float through a breathtaking canyon and take in the fantastic panorama view. Step 1 is about the journey from the changing room toward the infinity edge. It’s gently entering a state of serenity and calm where you feel relaxed and open to what is to come.

Step 2: Cool down with the cold plunge

Next comes cold therapy, a deeply traditional step for Icelanders. You have choices! Wander in the fresh Icelandic air. Or if you’re brave like a Viking, take a dip in the cold pool. It’ll stimulate your immune system, decrease blood flow in your body, and tighten your skin. The cold plunge is also proven to boost your happiness—it’s a natural high!

Step 3: Relax with a view in the sauna

After a cold awakening, visit the sauna for 5 to 10 minutes. Enjoy breathtaking ocean views while the heat works its magic. This is the most fantastic sauna in Iceland, with an enormous window with unobstructed ocean views.

Step 4: Refresh in a cold fog-mist

Next, balance the heat from the sauna by stepping slowly through our cold fog-mist space. The cold mist rejuvenates the skin and helps prepare you for what comes next. It’s stimulating—another natural high!

Step 5: The Sky Body Scrub

The highlight of The Ritual, we’ve developed our unique sea salt scrub to give your skin a soft, healthy feeling. With its light and comforting spring-like scent, it’ll work wonders. Use slow circular movements to massage the scrub into your skin gently.

Step 6: Steam room

Steam will open your skin with your skin tingling from the Sky Body Scrub. Here, The Ritual’s key therapeutic elements are absorbed, and the hydrating benefits of the Sky Body Scrub are maximized. With the scrub still on, you’ll find that the moisture and warmth help you breathe deeply and easily.

Step 7: Shower and relax in the lagoon

Finally, rinse off the scrub in the shower. Then, step back into the warm geothermal lagoon. Lean back, close your eyes, breathe deeply, feel the results and enjoy the moment! Let all the benefits of this unique journey sink in. You’ll feel every muscle in your body is relaxed, rejuvenated, and energized. When you’re ready, head to the Lagoon Bar for refreshments.
