On this tour, you will also visit the historical Thingvellir national park. Besides being a natural wonder, it is also the sight where the longest continuously run parliament was founded and still running some good 1.000 years later, but now as Althingi in Reykjavik.

You will visit the Geysir geothermal area where geyser Strokkur can reach the height of up to 25 meters, erupting every 10 minutes or so.

You will also see the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, known mainly for its’ majestic beauty.

The skilled driver will take you to Langjokull glacier for some off-road action and a close encounter with the vast expanse of the glacier.

What should I bring on this tour?

Since you are going to be doing some hiking or walking, it’s recommended that you bring a pair of sturdy and waterproof boots or shoes that are comfortable for walking on uneven paths. Since the weather is unpredictable, always bring comfortable outdoor clothes, warm layers, with waterproof and windproof outer-layers. Get ready for the action and don’t forget your camera!

If you want to take a dip in the warm pool in Landmannalaugar, remember your bathing suit and towel. Any use of soap is strictly forbidden in the pool!
