On this blue ice cave tour, you will experience a unique ice cave in Vatnajokull glacier, which is the largest ice cap in Iceland. This tour is suitable for those who want to visit a more isolated ice cave, which is more difficult to access. The level of this tour is moderate to hard, so it is not recommended for people in poor physical shape or those who are afraid of heights.

The Blue Ice Cave Adventure is guaranteed in small groups and is always guided by a glacier expert and ice cave specialist. Driving to location can take 25-30 minutes from our base and the walk to the ice cave itself can take anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the group. We spend approximately 1 hour in the cave itself, which gives you great photo opportunities and a truly unforgettable experience!

The tour can take between 4 and 6 hours, all depending on the conditions and weather.

We provide you with all the necessary gear to walk on the glacier, including crampons, harness, and helmet. Just make sure to wear warm and waterproof clothing and good hiking shoes with ankle support.
