Once in a lifetime experience for all hikers and nature enthusiasts!

The Fimmvorduhals hike from Skogar to Thorsmorki s one of Iceland’s most popular hiking routes.

The trail takes us up from Skogar , along Skoga River and its 20+ waterfalls, up between the two glaciers, Eyjafjallajokull and Myrdalsjokull. There we will discover the recently formed lava and the new craters, Magni and Modi, from the infamous volcanic eruption of 2010 which halted all air traffic in Europe.

From the craters, we will descend into the magnificent Thorsmork glacier valley, where we continue to enjoy more geological features as well as some amazing views over the highlands of Iceland and the surrounding glaciers. In Thorsmork we enjoy the fairytale landscape that surrounds the valley, until we are picked up by super jeeps which will transport us over the rivers and out of the valley.
