We have two different tours to Reykjanes, all depending on the difficulty level you feel comfortable with. Travel into Reykjanes peninsula in this unique way and enjoy the vast lava fields and mud tracks, which really make you experience the bike to its fullest extent.

Difficulty level 1 out of 4 or 2 out of 4 – 2-3 hours

We take one of Iceland’s most popular rally routes, still in use on specific dates (Djupavatn-Route) and head to Seltun; a geothermal area next to Krysuvik peninsula. After a short stop there, we ride along Kleifarvatn lake on a road that weaves between the lake and a rock wall. The lake is sometimes used for driving on ice during winter.

We can choose a little more demanding route if we like, just have a good talk with your guide before the tour.

Price: from 34.500 ISK per person

Difficulty 2 out of 4 – 6-7 hours

We start from our base and ride to Blafjallavegur road, to Dalaleid trail, heading to Grindavik where we stop for coffee/lunch. We explore mountain Thorbjorn and from there we take a look at Reykjanesta, where Iceland’s very first lighthouse, Reykjanesviti, was built. It has been relocated now a bit further from the sea; you will see why.

Gunnuhver, a bubbling eerie geothermal area is just a stone throw away and from there we head through Grindavik again on our way to Seltun, another geothermal area where we can walk among bubbling and steaming vents with a “tiny” hint of sulfur smell. On our way home we get to drive along a road that weaves between rock walls and Kleifarvatn lake.

Price: from 61.900 ISK per person
