We have added a special departure on December 28th, in a minibus!
All our super jeeps are booked on that date, but we wanted to test drive a minibus version of this tour.
We will pick you up in a superjeep, our expert guide at the wheel ready to make the night exceptional.
We start by exploring the hidden worlds of the volcanic nature by walking into the lava cave and discovering the marvels that volcanic activity has created in the past. This is a trip that will amaze you! During your underworld adventure, you will have the chance to witness magical colors and rock formations left behind by past volcanic eruptions. During the winter, the cave is likely to be filled with glistening icicles of all shapes and sizes, making it a truly beautiful spectacle.
After our underground adventure, we will drive to Fjorubordid restaurant in Stokkseyri village, where a gourmet langoustine dinner awaits us. At the seashore, the giant langoustine makes appointments with mermaids and land lubbers. He waves his large claws, attracting the desire to be in the company of starfish and lumpfish.
After dinner, the midnight wonders begin. During winter months, we will start the chase of the elusive Northern Lights. On cloudless winter evenings, we may be able to spot this beautiful natural phenomenon. Vivid and bright, the dancing aurora borealis in the Arctic skies are truly an unforgettable sight! Be warned though, as they are very shy!
During the summer months, we will enjoy a quiet moment at the local beach, drinking in the energy of the midnight sun. On the way home, the super jeep will get off the beaten path, adding a kick to the end of the tour!
